Tab Otter is a Chrome browser extension featuring Dottie, a sea otter companion who reflects your browser tab count.
Data we collect
None. Tab Otter does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or user data.
What stays on your device
The only information Tab Otter saves locally is your preferred position for Dottie on screen. This is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.
Tabs and browsing
Tab Otter counts your open tabs to determine Dottie's mood. It does not read, record, or transmit any tab URLs, page content, or browsing history.
Third parties
Tab Otter does not share any data with third parties. Ever.
